The Royse City Animal Shelter is much more than just a shelter. It’s a place where dedicated professionals and volunteers share their commitment, passion, and talent to help the animals and people of Royse City. The Royse City Animal Shelter operates a municipal companion animal shelter and adoption center that houses roughly 500 animals per year. With the help of staff and our volunteers, we provide a caring, clean, and loving environment to animals in need. Our vision is to provide every adoptable companion animal a home, to reunite lost pet companions with their family as quickly as possible, and to provide kindness and care to animals in need while in our care. Our mission is to enhance the lives of companion animals and support the human-animal bond through adoption, reunification, vaccinations, and spay/neuter awareness.
