Rio is an easygoing senior Shih Tzu looking for his forever family! Although he is 13yr old, he still has lots of pep in his step and love to give! This sweet boy came to BarkVille Dog Rescue after his family for the last 8 years could no longer care for him. He weighs just 14lbs, and has the cutest underbite youve ever seen! If youre looking for a low key, easy, sweet dog - Rio is for you! He is house trained, crate trained, and loves to go on car rides. 

Rio is healthy, has been fully vetted, and will make an excellent companion for a lucky person/family. He loves to go on walks, and does not require a fenced yard in his forever home. He is dog friendly, but would be happy as the only dog in a home as well. A townhome or condo would work for this cutie. He can be a little shy around new people but warms up quick! Rio is neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Applicants in surrounding states could potentially adopt a BarkVille dog if their application is approved, they live within 2-3 hours of the Greater Atlanta area, and they are able to pick up their dog from the foster home.
