Dozer is an neutered male dog. Hes had his first set of shots and those need to be boostered on 12-27-23. He DOES NOT LIKE being in the cone of shame and busted out of it twice over Christmas weekend. :S Our vet had to use staples to keep his incision from popping back open. What a turd. Well bring him back over to the vet on 1-8-24 to have the staples removed and for a recheck of his Complete Blood Count (CBC). We think Dozer could be a Mountain Cur mix with maybe Husky? He has short, tricolor fur with brown brindle. He weighed 58 pounds on 12-21-23. Dozer is from the pound. He knows sit and hes fully potty trained, so *someone* had him before he ended up in the pound and that *someone* didnt claim him. :( Dozer tested positive for Lymes and Anaplasmosis, and negative for heartworm. He hasnt shown clinical signs of Lymes disease or Anaplasmosis, so were in the clear thus far. Our veterinarian estimates that Dozer was born on 6-15-22. We named him Dozer, and he doesnt really know his name is now Dozer, so his new owner(s) can feel free to change it :) Dozer has been on walks with the other dogs and does well with them. We havent let Dozer off-leash to run around the backyard with the other dogs yet. We dont know if hes compatible with cats. We havent experimented with that yet. Dozer loves all adults and children. Dozer is currently eating whatever dry dog food is donated. Dozer has had his first set of vaccinations, which will be boostered on 12-27-23. He has been neutered, microchipped, is up-to-date on his flea and tick preventative, tested negative for heartworm, tested positive for Lymes disease and Anaplasmosis, and has been dewormed. He has an appointment on 1-8-23 to have his staples removed from his neuter incision and a recheck of his CBC. Dozers adoption fee is $200 and we accept cash or check. We do not have the ability to accept debit/credit cards. For more information, please call The Humane Society of Richland-Wilkin Counties at 701-672-1676. Leave a message if there is no answer.
