Roxy chose the right house to make her debut appearance as a stray kitten... because they got her into rescue right away!

This 8-month old girl with a cute milk stash has proven herself to be a big love bug! After deciding the scary outdoor is not for her, Roxy is settling down quite nicely to indoor living. She can be very independent, yet still quietly follows you around just to stay near and check out what you are up to. She has mastered the art of biscuit-making, and is happy to demonstrate anytime her people are sitting down! Roxy enjoys lying in a hammock by the window watching the world outside, and happy to entertain herself with smackie toys or interact with her people attached to a wand toy or laser pointer. She helped her shy foster brothers with their journey of trusting and loving people, and her easy friendship and acceptance has made huge differences in their progress. Roxy can be a foster cat to foster cats! However, she is looking forward to making new, fast friends in her forever home with the people and cats there, who will no doubt fall under her effortless charm and sweetness in no time! 

Roxy has a good appetite and great litter habits, as is fitting for an easygoing, happy-go-lucky kitty. Our adoption fees cover vetting and include spay/neuter, first-round of age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption, flea treatment, two dewormings and microchipping.

Standard adoption fees are $225 for each kitten up to 12 months old.  Please note that fees may apply for additional required vaccinations due prior to adoption. Total adoption fees will be confirmed by the AVA Adoption Coordinator.

All AVA kittens 12 months or younger must be adopted in pairs or go to a home with another young cat (3 years or younger). Kittens learn from each other how to behave, which helps them turn into well-adjusted adult cats. In general, paired cats have happier and healthier lives because they have a constant companion and playmate. Plus, it’s twice the fun for you, and half the work!
