Welcome Shilo to CCPAL Rescue Foster program.  Shilo is a 20-pound German Shepherd/Terrier mixed pup.  Shilo was dumped in the country of Texas with her siblings on a good Samaritan dog person.  She should be a 50lb dog full grown.  She is smart, active and affectionate.  She lives with 5 children of varying ages.  She lives with 5 cats and 10 other dogs.  She is good with all of these.   This good Samaritan is working on leash manners and she is already good in a car.  We would like someone that has owned a smart breed dog or a GSD before.  A GSD will need a job and physical and mental stimulation to be happy.  They are naturally good with children so we think Cricket would love another home with children.  She would also be great with another companion animal.  She is decent on the leash and soft when you pick her up.   Puppies will always be better with someone that doesn’t work all day every day.  Puppies need time with people and to go places with their human so they become well rounded adult dogs.   She is getting her puppy vaccines and will be spayed soon and ready for her forever home.  She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast.  Her adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200.  .
