Description:
Welcome Serenity to CCPAL Rescue. She is a 1.5-year-old Australian Shepherd mixed dog. She weighs about 45 pounds. She is deaf and only has minor sight in one eye. She gets around like she has all senses completely intact. She is very sweet with all people. She was born without hearing and much sight so she has learned to adapt and when you see her play with other dogs you would not really know. She is great with other dogs her size and gets along in a play group with dogs that are more dominant and bossier. She can go with children. We would like them to be 10 or older. Someone patient with her and gentle in the handling will love this dog. She wants to do what you want and she is gentle, sweet and willing to learn. She is smart and adores attention and being touched. She has a soft coat and not a huge shedder. She would be a great companion for an older couple, older single or someone that is looking for a nice friendly companion. She is good on a leash and follows scent of her person easily. She bonds deeply and quickly. We all love this dog at the Rescue and would really be happy to see her find her forever home. She was found as a stray in Texas and has been with the rescue waiting for her forever home. She is healthy and up on her vaccinations and spayed. She can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. . Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpalrescue.org See her cute video!!
